NJCU students who are graduating this year with a BFA will present their thesis exhibitions virtually beginning this week. Due to the virus, the physical exhibitions has been postponed to Fall 2020.
Art exhibitions of students who majored in ceramics, drawing, graphic design, illustration, jewelry, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture will be featured.
There will be two Virtual Artist talks. The first will begin on May 13th from 5pm-7pm.
Students who are presenting their exhibitions on May 13th are: Asma Abibakar, Aminah Chaudhary, Natasha Forbes, Angelica Garcia,Gabriela Gomez, Raeef Hanna, Junior Mejias, Marcos Renderos, Jasmine Shaw, Michael Spadola, and Charles Tavares. Guest critic will be Doris Cacoilo.

After the exhibition there will be the Karen Ziccardi ’68 Art Awards Presentation from 6-7pm. Aminah Chaudhary, Angelica Garcia, Junior Mejias, and Charles Tavares are among the award winning recipients. To register for the awards, click the link above.
There second talk will be on May 15 from 2-3:30pm. Students presenting are: Karla Almonte, Marjelyn Alvarez, Brian Bransky, Olivia Boules, Katy Burdge, Justin Cannon, Julio Huamantupa, Ailyn Lopez,Steven Mosquez, and T’ana Salinas. Guest critic will be Jeanne Brasile.

Students who have not presented this semester, will be given the opportunity to present in the Fall 2020 semester.
