Woman’s Herstory Month March 2015

“Weaving the Stories of Women’s Lives”

A month-long celebration to weave women’s stories—individually and collectively—into

the essential fabric of our nation’s history. This March is chockfull of events that commemorate

the lives and talents of women in our history. Join the Speicher-Rubin Women’s Center for

Equity and Diversity and Campus Life for upcoming events:

March 18th

March 19th, 2015: A Tribute to the Women: Rewriting History, Retelling Herstory in

Civil Rights featuring Dr. Evelyn Simien at 11:30am to 1:30pm, GSUB 129.

March 24th, 2015: “SERVICE: When Women Come Marching Home,” Film Screening,

from 2pm to 4pm, GSUB 129

March 30th, 2015: “The Journey of a Brown Girl,” Experimental Theatre Movement at

7pm, at the West Side Theatre (formerly Black Box Theatre).
