The NJCU Honors Wind Ensemble will perform on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 7 PM in the GSUB Multipurpose room. It will be made up of high school students selected from a pool of nominations sent in by New Jersey band directors. There are almost 80 participants from North Bergen, Bayonne, Harrison, West NY, North Plainfield, Union City, Westfield, Secaucus, and Sayreville. The performance will be co-directed by Dr. Joseph d’Auguste and Dr. Gilles Bernard with guest director Mr. Robert Dubois from Union City High School. They will be assisted by the award winning NJCU Chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). This prestigious organization of educators will work with clinicians from the Caroline L. Guarini Department of Music at NJCU and will give students an opportunity to play with other high caliber performers from throughout the state.
