Felicia Temple, a former R&B singer from NBC’s ‘The Voice’ performed on October 18th in the GSUB lobby. Temple, a New Jersey native, told those in attendance that she grew up surrounded in a house full of musicians but was constantly told that she “needed a real job, a stable job that would help pay the bills.”

Temple is currently a certified nurse but has not let go of her passion for music. She says that music, “pulls her in.” The performer has a set of dedicated followers: her songs have over 10,000 plays on SoundCloud.

You can listen to Felicia Temple’s music on her YouTube channel or check out her EP, “The Balancing Act“, which was released earlier this year.
