NJCU Lose to Rowan, Set to Play Montclair Next

NJCU’s Basketball team played at Rowan University (11 wins-11 loses) on Saturday, February 3. In the first and second quarter of the game, both teams were neck and neck with each other.

Rowan won the game with 67-66 leading by one point with 7.4 seconds left on the scoreboard. NJCU is now 17-5 (wins-loses) and 11-3 (wins-loses) in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). The loss to Rowan ended NJCU’s chance of moving up in the conference however they have three games remaining.

On January 31 the team also played Kean University and won the game at 75-63. The Gothic Knights will go on to play Montclair State University the Red Hawks (16 wins-6 loses) on February 7.
