#NJCUBB Celebrates a Win

NJCU Baseball faced Baruch College on March 27. The Gothic Knights collected eleven hits, four errors and seven runs in total. Tom Pulcine, Mike O’Donnell, Jan Castellano, Juan Pena, Bill Feehan, and Dan Berardi received a run (R). Berardi was the only player to collect four RBIs and three hits (H). The Gothic Knights unleashed four runs in the third inning and had a three-point lead until Baruch scored in the sixth. In the bottom of the third, Berardi homered and permitted Feehan and Pulcine to score. Pulcine made a hit in the sixth which allowed for Pena to score. Berardi came back in the bottom of the fifth to make another homer. Nate Facey was winning pitcher of the game. Facey had three hits (H), six strikeouts (SO), five groundouts (GO), three walks (BB), and one earned run (ER). The game ended in the ninth inning and the Gothic Knights took home a win 7-3.
