NJCU Women’s Volleyball Swept in Game 1 and Victorious in Game 2

In the season opener, NJCU Women’s Volleyball suffered a loss after being swept 3-0 by Manhattanville on September 1 in the Bryn Athyn Tri-Match. The team collected 23 kills, 22 errors and four aces in game 1. The team couldn’t maintain enough energy to keep up with Manhattanville which caused them to fall six points behind in the first and second set. In the third, Manhattanville held an 18-point lead. Pamela Florimon, Amber O’Donnell, Stephanie Duque and Diana Trochimowicz were stand out players in game 1. Each player received more than two kills (points) and at least one block.  

NJCU redeemed themselves in game 2 giving Bryn Athyn College a 3-0 sweep. The team’s momentum was sustained and they managed to come out on top for all three sets. Pamela Florimon, Amber O’Donnell, Stephanie Duque and Naiomi Cintron were stand out players in game 2.
