NJCU swept by Franklin and Marshall College in RussMatt Invitational

Kristen Hazzard, Sports Editor

NJCU challenged Franklin and Marshall College (F&M) on March 10. This was the team’s second loss of the season. The game went on for 7 innings. The Gothic Knights did not generate enough momentum to keep up with F&M. However the team produced four hits. The first hit for NJCU was a single from Jesse Kraft in the second. Matt Corsi and Anthony Palmisano singled in the third and Ricky Voss doubled in the fourth.

Franklin & Marshall provided that they were a force to be reckoned with. The team unleashed nine hits in the fourth inning and maintained a 12-0 shutout in the fifth.
