Although you don’t want to accept the fact that the love of your life is moving on, there are signs you need to look out for. Moving on is one of the hardest things you will need to do in your life. Don’t feel too bad always remember there are other fish in the sea, plenty of them.
There are many situations where relationships will most likely have hardships. If your significant other was in a prior relationship when they started dating you, chance are it will happen again. Long distance relationships rarely work out. Some couples cannot withstand the lack of physical attention and can develop insecurities that lead to other challenges. If there is no communication with your significant other it’s a sure way to damage the relationship. If you’re not communicating every day, that’s a problem. This is someone you want to express your daily mood to, how you are feeling, and how your day went. If your boyfriend/girlfriend only texts you and never calls you, deuces. They do not want to speak to you on the phone and that hints to problems.
Other issues can be involving friends. If they don’t want you around their friends this can cause a problem. People find themselves in a lose-lose battle when it comes down to friends and their love lives. This needs to be dealt with carefully.
Lack of affection can add on to stressful and heated arguments. While not everyone is a fan of public display of affection (PDA), others are. Not holding each other’s hands, using the silent treatment (which is childish, F.Y.I.), kissing on the cheeks rather than the lips are all signs that something may be off. If the relationship started affectionate, both parties should try to continue it to keep up the spark, but remember, it takes two to make it work. If things between you start dying, some awkwardness can set it.
Truth is, you shouldn’t spend your time trying to make something work that obviously isn’t going to function. Don’t waste your time. You only live once and you might as well enjoy it instead of being miserable.
Shout out to the broken hearted: LIFE GOES ON! In order for you to experience true happiness, you must experience true pain. There are more appealing things out there in this world that life has to offer. One heart break is made up of millions. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Life goes on. All these stupid bumper sticker quotes can actually be inspirational; you just have to put meaning to them.
