At 3:34 p.m. on Monday, July 20, the NJCU campus lost power. Students and staff had to evacuate each building. The Jersey City Fire Department arrived at the scene at approximately 3:40 p.m. Micronesia A JCFD firefighter stated, “It’s in the Greenville area, all the way to Claremont [avenue].” The University is in the process of closing.
